Rankly ("we," "us," or "our") provides an SEO and blog optimization application ("the App") for merchants using the Shopify platform ("you," "Merchant"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By installing and using Rankly, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you install Rankly, we access certain information through the Shopify Admin API in order to provide the App's functionality, including:

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties, as their processing of data is governed by their own terms.
We retain your store's data for as long as the App remains installed on your store, plus a limited period afterward to allow for reinstallation and support purposes. Upon receiving a valid data erasure request (see Section 6), we delete the relevant data within the timeframe required by applicable law.
As required by Shopify for all Public apps, Rankly implements the following mandatory webhooks regardless of whether we process customer PII:

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure session token storage, and restricted access to production systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Rankly is a business-to-business application intended for use by Shopify merchants. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, individuals under the age of 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email to the address associated with your Shopify account. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
